I love the stitches used in this scarf but I wish it was wider, longer, and bulkier. I like those qualities in a scarf or cowl.

I am not really sure why this lace scarf is being marked as rustic because it is anything but. This is a really modern and clean looking piece to me. As a matter of fact I would call it classic. By looking at the work when laid out flat the design is just stunning. Thanks for sharing this quality free pattern.

I really like the tip about achieve the lightest of scarves. Sometimes you want fashion and not function and typically scarves are thought of as function. This rustic lace scarf is just beautiful and even though I am not partial to light colors like beige, I will not be changing the color of this item because it is perfect just the way it is.

I recommend the Loops and Threads Woolike yarn to anyone who wants a super fine yarn that you can not only use a "G" hook or even and "F"- all the way up to a "K". I have done this, depending on what project you are working up and how you want it to look. The big hook will make a shawl very open and mesh-like. The only downside to this yarn is the fact that they are offered in limited colors. I wish there were more! This is a beautiful scarf with just double crochets!

Its still too hot here to think about winter scarves, but the open lacy texture of this one makes me think it would be a nice summer accessory, too. I have a brand new skein of seafoam green that Ive been dieing to find the right project for, and this scarf is very tempting. The texture pattern is some interesting that it really needs a solid color to show it off to its best advantage.
