Royal Lace Scarf
This Royal Lace Scarf is worked up in two colors. Just cozy enough to add some warmth and thin enough not to be too warm, this crochet scarf pattern makes an excellent fall or spring scarf. Most of the scarf is worked up in a gold yarn that gives it a very refined look. The blue accent stripe throughout the project could be done up in any color. Primary colors work best, however, as they provide a bold look.

The photos that go with this project were a little confusing until I downloaded the .pdf at the Ravelry link and read through the entire set of instructions. What the designer has done is worked the same pattern in white thread for the cowl, and in colored yarn for the scarf. Between my older eyes and dexterity issues, theres no way I could manage the cowl but I will definitely give the scarf a go. Might even try joining it into a cowl anyway!

What I like about this Royal Lace Scarf is the color combination used - blue and light tan. I love the twist of accentuating the predominantly light tan scarf with that one line blue stitch giving this project a touch of good taste and good fashion sense. I wanna make this scarf although I wanna make some modifications. Cheers!

Very pretty and very unique. This is an openwork scarf so it would not be good for extremely cold temperatures, but would probably work for me here in Florida since our winters arent very cold at all. I like the open lacy feminine look of this scarf and it will make a very nice accessory.

This Royal Lace Scarf is a great conversation piece for its unique design and for its color combination. The golden brown contrasts well with the royal blue accent. Yes, you may do this scarf with the gold base then play with the accent in colors that you fancy to match a favorite dress or blouse. Thanks for the pattern. Cheers!

Can't wait to try this pattern as my next project, it looks so intricate but I was won over by the easy rating on this project. I'm not a huge fan of the colors the creator used in the project photo but I think this would look amazing in so many different color combinations. Can't wait to make this to sport during these cold winter months here in Michigan!
