Winter Storm Scarf

"The Winter Storm Warning is the perfect time to relax by the fire, and crochet something warm for when you do finally have to venture outside again! The Winter Storm infinity scarf was designed and crocheted on one such long weekend, and it was the perfect piece to set the mood for a stormy, snowy winter. This pattern was designed with Lion Brand Ice Cream - with it’s shades of grey and white, it reminded me of the layers of snow and clouds in a winter storm, making it the perfect yarn to use for this pattern!"

Wow what a beautiful scarf/cowl this is! The colorway is very nice and I just bought 4 balls of it for hats. That may change after seeing this pattern. I love how soft this yarn is! After reading the pattern for this Winter Storm Scarf I can't wait to start it! The two row repeat makes a beautiful pattern and if it's too long, the pattern is a multiple of 8 stitches, so it can be shorter if needed. I like the length because you can wrap it around your neck or even use it as a hoodie! Yah this is a great pattern.. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet scarf pattern.

OH MY GOSH I must have this scarf for my own! It looks so expensive and rich. But it is made using just three skeins of the Ice Cream (Lion Brand!) yarn in the Cookies and Cream colorway. I love how the wave stitch creates almost an accordion look. It will lay neatly in folds around the neck. I am loving this so much! Thank you for this pattern. You have made this woman very happy!

One look at that yarn and I started searching to see if any of my local craft stores carry it! Winter storm is the perfect name for this because the colors remind me of banks of snow clouds. You will have to click on the link for the Little Waves Pattern, but youll be rewarded with an excellent explanation, diagram and even an instructional video. Another Moogly Blog winner!

As the designer said " it reminded me of the layers of snow and clouds in a winter storm". I love the design and color scheme chosen and the pom adds just the right amount of finishing touches.

What a unique cowl! The mix of white and grey colors is so pretty. This really has such a winter-y feel to it.
