Candy Stocking Ornament
Have you ever seen a cute ornament crochet pattern like this Candy Stocking Ornament? A simple granny hexagon is the basis of this pattern, which helps it keep its tiny little shape. Tuck in a piece of candy inside of this stocking ornament and hang it on the tree for a different kind of fun. Hide them around the house for your kids to find on Christmas morning for even more presents and fun.

The pattern has moved from the original link, but the author has provided a working link to the new site. This uses another version of a granny square, but the center is six pointed instead of the usual four. The author doesnt include a lot of photos, but does cover the crucial points. Ive already made up several other granny square mini stockings, but this one intrigues me.
