Al's Dickey

search

Al's Dickey pattern was created with a man in mind, but can easily be made for a lady as well. It is a triangular piece with a neck that will keep any cool breeze from blowing directly down your shirt. This crochet pattern for men would be a great gift in the fall or for Christmas.

My adult son is an avid deer hunter, and autumn mornings get pretty nippy around here. He wants me to crochet a balaclava but add a dickey bottom. Since this pattern is worked from the neck down, I should be able to tweak it enough to join it at the bottom of the balaclava. Its definitely worth a try.

Are there any corrections?

thank you very much for the pattern. Trying to figure out how to make a higher collar (more like a turtleneck) and longer in the chest and back but shorter over the shoulders for hunting. Any suggestions?

Thank you very musch. I think it is a fab patern.
