The Denim & Ivory Lapghan measures 46"W x 48"H. It would make a great wheelchair afghan, a blanket for when you're curled up on the couch or recliner. It would also make a beautiful baby or toddler blanket. You can customize it to any size. All you need to do is have a starting chain with a multiple of 4 + 2. This stitch pattern would make a gorgeous bedspread too! Not only that, the only stitches you need to know are single crochet and double crochet. It's an easy five row repeat that you can quickly memorize.
Crochet HookI/9 or 5.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge15 dc stitches and 9 rows of pattern in a 4” (10cm) square.
Finished Size46” W x 48” H

I have two boys and each one of them would love to have one of these. The oldest is still in graduate school and the baby boy will complete undergraduate and with little to get started with, I know they would love having one of these.

It just so happens that my guest bedroom is decorated in denim and this would be gravy in the decor. The design is simple and real straight forward but it sure does pack a punch. I love the design and the edge applied really does give it a finished touch.

The pattern for this lapghan is easy to customize by remembering the pattern is in multiples of four plus two. This is a lightweight blanket that would be perfect for using on the sofa when the a/c is too cold or if you just want to snuggle and Netflix and chill for an evening staying at home.
