This hat is made from the bottom band up, and combining it with the very large Puffs makes it work up quickly. The author provides some photos for creating the band and attaching the first few rows of puffs as well as a tutorial on working the Puffs themselves. Lots of versatility with this pattern, too, as directions are included for newborn through adult. Dont scrimp on that pompon, either!
