When my children were growing up, we lived on a 100 acre farm. Every summer, daughter Rachel would look forward to buttercups and daisies starting to bloom. Instead of using regular elastic as the designer suggests, I used a purchased elastic headband from the dollar store. I followed the rest of the instructions for the band and flowers, but added a few crocheted daisies to keep the buttercup company. She loved it!
