Summer Diamonds Kimono Cardigan

"This Summer Diamonds Kimono Cardigan is created from 7 balls of We Are Knitters Cotton Wool 100% Pima Cotton yarn, which makes for a wonderfully draped cardigan that is light and cool to the touch. It's perfect for chilly offices and balmy summer evenings. In constructing this garment, I tried to minimize the number of pieces that needed to be sewn on, so almost the entire thing is crocheted sideways in one piece. Then the trim and collar is joined to the main body."

Hi Jeri, The blogger moved some links around on her page it looks like. I was able to poke around and find the link - it's been updated above. Thanks! Julia, AFC editor

I am happy that I happened across this pattern. I appreciate the LuLaRoe movement and what it stands for. I am currently trying to decide on a single piece. In the meantime, I plan on making this diamonds kimono cardigan and I know I will make it in more than once. Thanks for all the info.

The diamond design worked through this cardigan is simply elegant. The project looks fairly straightforward but when I see the skill set intermediate, I press on brakes. I also see that the designer has offered to sell the print directions for a small fee. I may attempt this once I read the ad-free version.

Cannot download this lovely pattern

Oh YESSS, this is beautiful! So elegant and it drapes beautifully and I am thrilled that it is made from cotton because I am quite pedantic about using yarns made from easily renewable resources bamboo, cotton, jute, etc. Beside all that I love the design and have selected a gorgeous blue yarn from my stash so I am all set to go!

beautiful work, design and you are a lovely lady too.

I have been looking for something like this for such a long time. Thanks.

What a STUNNING and boutique worthy piece of work this is. The light taupe/oatmeal color is so modern and fresh. The diamonds are what give it a trendy effect without taking it over the top. As far as the pattern goes, she really gives it to is in great detail and leaves nothing to question. Very thorough! I appreciate that! I have just got to make one for myself, and maybe even as a gift for a dear friend.

I love the look of this Summer Diamonds Kimono Cardigan. After reading the pattern and all the notes and comments I think this will be well worth the time to make. It looks like she has updated all the typo errors and after a year of others trying it all the bugs are worked out. I'm looking forward to crocheting this beautiful cardigan. I didn't try downloading the pattern, I'll do that later. I'll be on the look out for this cotton yarn to make this and will be back for the pdf pattern. Thank you so much for this beautiful free crochet pattern.
