I can see this being worn with a long sleeve simple tee, a pair of jeans or jeggings, and a cool pair of tall boots. Nobody will ever believe you that you made it yourself. What I like the best about this pattern is the ease of construction for a GARMENT. There is no shaping involved. If you are a confident beginner or an advanced beginner, I think you could give this a try. Even if you chickened out on sewing in a zipper, it kinda does not even need one, really.
