They can even be a fast, fantastic gift for your kids teachers! Worked in the round using basic spirals of single crochet stitches, grab your brightest 4 ply cotton yarns and a pretty button. You will also need a 3.5mm crochet hook, stitch marker and a needle and some thread to sew on the button."

This is such a well written and illustrated project that you dont even need a video tutorial. With school about to start, as well as apple season, this is a practical pattern for a Beginner to work up. If you dont want to use a button, you can work about 20 chains before starting on the last row so you can just tie the cosy closed. And I am totally stealing that lobster claw stitch marker idea!

This is such a great idea! When I bring apples to work, I usually just wrap them in a paper towel, but this is definitely much more effective and eco-friendly. Not to mention, it's super cute!
