I took the time to read over the directions to make this springtime baby crochet blanket. To achieve the basket weave it only takes 11 rows. Reading over it sounds easy but I think for safety sake, I will start with a practice swatch just to see if my "basket-weave" really looks like it should. I love the texture and I hope I can achieve the technique.

I just love texture in my crochet projects. This springtime baby crochet blanket does have a lot of that. The basket weave technique makes a nice looking blanket. Depending on the color you select the finished product will be a cherished item for any one that receives it.

I like this pattern! Too cute and the colors are great. This would come in handy for the cooler Spring months before it gets too warm. I think it would make a fun gift as well. This will be on my to do crochet list and my baby shower gift list for sure!

I love the look of this Springtime Baby Crochet Blanket. The basket weave pattern is so beautiful that has people asking "How did you do that?". I'm thinking of making a few of these in spring time colors, pink, light green and light blue. They will be great to keep in the van for when the grand kids want to snuggle up with a soft blanket on road trips. I like the simple border done on this too. I can see this working out due to the well written pattern. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
