I like this Cozy Cabin afghan for it's color scheme, for using the chevron stitch and for its size and for its exquisiteness. This is so lovely. I cannot wait to do this. Oh there's just a lot of beautiful afghans and blankets to make.

Hi there! The stripe pattern is as follows: 4 rows A, 4 rows B, 6 rows C, 2 rows D,2 rows C, 6 rows B, 4 rows A, 2 rows D. These 30 rows form Stripe Pat. Please let me know if I can help with anything else!

It says that it uses an "H" crochet hook. But the picture makes it look like there was a bigger hook used. Or the tension is pretty lose. It's okay. Everybody has their own way of crocheting. You can't go wrong if you just follow the pattern- which really is an "auto-pilot" pattern once you do a few ridges. You won't need to count stitches anymore after you get going!

Hi princess, The gauge information is included as well, so if you're ever in doubt on what size hook to use, make sure to check your gauge and size up or down accordingly. :) Thanks! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet
