This summer air tunic looks so lacy and comfortable. I especially love the color of the yarn that was used here. I am hoping a few tweaks that I plan to make will allow this to be just the right size for me. I wear a large and I want a little extra swing in the tunic. Thanks for the free pattern.

This is another beautiful pattern from Maz Kwok designs. I really love the lace pattern used. This would be cute with a belt and some leggings. But, I agree it is lacy and light enough to be a great beach cover up. I love tunics because of their length as I like to wear things that are long enough to cover my belly, but I also love lacy things I can throw over a tank top. This definitely fits the bill.

This is just the right weight for Florida temperatures. It's hard to find them in crochet. Everything is geared towards the colder climates. But something like this can be worn in both the summer and winter down here if you use cotton yarn. Thank you for offering something I can make and wear all year long.

I really like the look of this tunic. It also has the design going horizontally so it is slimming. I am always looking for that. Haha! I used to live in Arizona and fell in love with cotton yarn. You do have to watch that you have the right gauge because it does not stretch but it is lightweight and perfect in the summer here on the East Coast. I also like the fact that you only have to seam the shoulders and side seams. Thank you for the pattern.

Hi Delphine, I was able to click through to the blogger's site just fine with the link above. Maybe try refreshing the page if you get the empty page, or make sure your browsers are up-to-date to allow any plugins the page might be trying to run to show up and work? Good luck! Thanks AFC Editor Julia. I was surfing though my saved projects and leaned heavily on this one because I think it is the perfect piece. The link now opens right up to the page. I am excited about it.

This is a top? Uh oh, I thought it was a summer dress. Would make an excellent beach day cover up for here in Florida. The citrus / melon color would be perfect also. Thanks for the info about the chainless starting dc. I will definitely check that tip out.

I so appreciate the option to have access to the plus sizes in this pattern, for a nominal fee. SO often I find a tunic pattern that I really like and want to try- and I don't wear a size medium or even a large. Not my fault! I think the orange is fabulous as well. I'd love to try this in a turquoise or a coral color as well.

Wow, the Summer Air Tunic is very elegant looking and the pattern is stated as Easy. I so want to crochet this beautiful tunic, I love the color and must say I have never wore orange before. Time to try it. LOL After reading the written pattern and the comments on the pattern page, I think this one will work out great. There were question bout round 56-57 and after seeing the answers I think it make sense. Just follow the written directions and it will come out. I'm a small so I need to figure out how many stitches to subtract so it will fit. She isn't clear on how to do it? I'm looking forward to trying this one. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.
