I prefer slippers like this even in the winter. I do not like anything too heavy on my feet and also need something that I can slip in and out of quickly. I do not wear shoes in the house. This pattern is perfect. It should work up quickly as well. You can alway buy rubber soles in the dollar store. I have the yarn on hand. Thank you.

a chain of 30 is to small for my feet. i need more like 45. i am using some of the same pattern, but going about it differently. mostly cutting out the outline of my feet first.
