Woodland Animal Softies

"Here's my Woodland Animal Softies - use on a keychain, as an ornament for a tree or wreath, attach to a gift, use as a toy, hang them anywhere....so many uses. I'm also including my variations so you can make the Christmas-themed Softies and the Fall-themed Softies. These work up really quick using a 4mm hook and #4 worsted weight yarn. I used Red Heart, Lion Brand and I Love This yarn in making these. It's a great stash buster. Place the hanger around a small bottle of Bath & Body's Hand Sanitizer and you have the perfect teacher, friend, co-worker gift."

Oh my gosh these are so cute. I have been looking for a while for a cute little froggy pattern and I glanced over the pictures of all the animals included in the pattern and I see my little froggy. These are great for so many different occasions. They are also great to let the kids dangle them from bookbags.

Oh my gosh. I just found these and I am in love. I have four grand kids so you know I will be crocheting a zoo! Two of my little darlings are one year old twins so they may get ones with jingle bells inside. I can't wait to get started, time to break out the yarn stash!

Talk about your ultimate scrap buster! All these cuties are made from the same basic pattern (link provided). The directions at the link above explain how to work additional bits and pieces that turn the basic keychain shape into whatever figure youd like. This would make a wonderful kids craft, too. Dont stop at just what the designer has posted. Let your imagination go wild on this one!

These are adorable! I love that there are so many ways you can use them, and I think they'd be hits with kids. You can make them one of their favorite animals.
