It is most certainly a free download for the instructions and pictures (it is a .pdf file). I would suggest to those posting that it isn't, go back and find the download button.

When you click on the link to get the pattern you are taken to the LuLu website which says that the page you are looking for is not available. I've never had this happen before. Grrr

I have made three of these afghans. They are so easy to make, and everybody thinks they are beautiful. They are perfect to take to nursing homes and Veterans homes to make their beds look homier. It is a good way to use up odd balls of thead, too. Different textures blend well in this pattern so long as they are used continually in one row, or better in four or five rows together. I have used many of your patterns and love they way they are so easy to follow. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Hi Crafter 17920, If you click on the "click here for crochet pattern" link it will take you to the original page. You then have to click on the download button on the right side of the original pattern and it will bring up the PDF
