Nowadays, kids have a million different consoles for their games. (If you have absolutely no idea what the difference is between a PS4 and an Xbox One, you're not alone.) However, you'll find everything from classic Sonic to newly popular Minecraft within this list to satisfy the inner kid in you, too.

Crochet Characters and Amigurumi Patterns

Not a gamer? No problem. These movie characters might be more up your alley. Work up Toy Story's Bullseye, Star Wars' Yoda, and yes, even Frozen's Elsa. I can't name a single person I know that doesn't like watching movies; your kids will love watching them even more if they have a cute little stuffed doll to hold onto while it's playing. After it's over, they can carry on the movie magic at home by playing with these adorable crochet dolls and amigurumi characters.

Dress her up like a snow queen for a day, pin Belle's rose brooch on her sweater, or work up a frilly tutu for her to prance around in. Crochet Patterns from Classic Hollywood

1920s Cloche Crochet Hat

Sometimes the best movies aren't always the most popular. Back when movies first came out, the popularity resided in the fact that this was new and exciting. Celebrities were deemed so because they had acting ability and were part of something classic, not because they made millions of dollars. Take your style back to the best of Hollywood with these vintage crochet patterns that give your style a glamorous touch of class.

Glamour Girl Crochet Necklace
30 Minute Classic Crochet Earrings
Twisted Turban Headband
Vintage Lace Popcorn Shawl
Classic Infinity Scarf

Downton Abbey Arm Warmers
Antoinette Vintage Statment Necklace
Annie Oakley Bandana Cowl
Cluster Slippers

Thanksgiving afternoon Im on speaker phone so I can talk to my eldest daughter and her family. I mention that Ive found a few Pokeman crochet patterns and the room erupts with requests. Mind, these are all teenage boys! I doubt I can get them all finished by this Christmas, but Im not short of gift ideas for the future. Im not familiar with many of these characters but I understand this collection is a good sample.
