Hi I just made Mario for my grandson and it was really cute but I didn't switch to a smaller hook although I don't crochet loosely but not real tight either I was concerned that a smaller hook would actually make Mario smaller in size Am I wrong about that I was disappointed that you could see the stuffing through the stitches Maybe I stuffed too much I am not sure but want to make Luigi next so any help would be greatly appreciated I also have a question on the instructions for the Hand Arm with thumb On rnd there are stitches at the end and then on rnd there are only It turned out all right but still wondering what happened to the stitches Maybe I am missing something Thank you for these great patterns and sure like the way you respond to the comments and making us feel…Read More important Marge

I made this for my nephew, he is a second grader crazy about anything Mario Bros. He has a lot of store bought plush Mario's but absolutely adores this one I made. It is his favorite. Now he wants me to make Luigi. He said he would even give me his allowance. Ha! It works up real well. I crocheted eyes, buttons and the hat logo. I try to make everything crocheted.
