Changing Leaves Basket

"The Changing Leaves Basket turns the crocodile stitch into a cascade of falling leaves in all the beautiful colors of autumn. A celebration and decoration for all things fall! This basket is a great stash-buster! Or you can use all your various shades of green for something springy and summery! I think the Changing Leaves Basket perfectly captures both a modern, clean look, and a whimsical gnomes and fairies look - two of my favorites! This basket is made in two parts that are then joined together. This creates a sturdier, more solid basket. The handles are written in the style shown, but feel free to adjust them to your own taste, or omit them altogether."

This changing leaves basket design is really neat. I can see that the project is made in two parts. I love the changing leaves concept but I would love to see this made in colors that match the decor of my home office. With or without the leaves, this will be beautiful to add to any table in the house.

The inside of the basket is just as pretty as the outside - almost. I love the colors of Autumn used in this changing leaves basket. This project gets me in the mood for fall. This would be a great addition to the fall table-scapes that we will soon be breaking out of storage.

This is a nice use of the crocodile stitch, and I love how it naturally variegates from summer to autumn leaves. It does look like something a fairy would carryjust the thing to collect fallen nuts and acorns! This project doesnt require tons of yarn, so it makes a nice stash buster, too. You could use other colors for different effects, but I think this one is perfect just as it is.
