Before I learned to crochet and knit, cross stitching was the craft I was addicted to. Now, I rarely do it anymore, but I do miss it sometimes. I have never cross stitched on my knitting or chrochet before, although I have thought about it, but I was always worried about how it would end up looking, but after seeing how beautifully this hat turned out I want to give it a shot. I live how the rose looks being cross stitched on, but I could also see this being done with many other charts as well.

Slouch hats seem to be all the rage this season. I see them everywhere, but I have not seen one as pretty as this with the cross-stitched rose accent. Is cross stitching making a comeback? I also agree with the other ladies that commented on the models hair, it is gorgeous.

This hat is absolutely gorgeous! I have, though, never cross stitched over my crochet. Does anyone have any tips for getting the right tension on the stitching? I'm really afraid to try it for fear I will get them too tight and it will be a disaster. Thanks!

I love this!! A simple pattern, that would work up quickly, but with a unique design detail that makes the hat extra special. I'm excited to put to work more than one crafting skill to make this project!

This hat is so beautiful, and such a welcome "break" from the ordinary. The pattern for the hat itself is so simple and easy to follow. I absolutely loved the addition of the cross stich flower!! It was so much fun to use my cross stich skills and the results were absolutely gorgeous!! I am definitely adding this to my repertoire of favorite patterns, already thinking of other color combinations.

I am in love with this cross stitch pattern on this beanie, it is so unique and beautiful, can't wait to try this with several different color combinations to give as gifts, looks like something you would buy from a boutique shop!

Not only is this hat gorgeous but the model's hair is incredibly beautiful

Does that models incredible hair come with it? I really want that too...
