What a fun hat, and by using that delicious chunky yarn, its going to work up fast, too. I love how the brim transitions immediately into the big cables, and since theres no way to disguise that gather at the top, a pompon is completely necessary in this case. The best part for me is that casual slouch. This is one pattern Im passing on to my teen crafters, too.
