This is a really cute cozy. I like that the designer has provided the directions to make this "fit" your jar. These little jar covers should work up pretty fast so I should have time to make at least one before the trick or treaters arrive.

I love to reuse/recycle/upcycle whatever is destined for the trash or recycle bin. This is not a new idea but I love that the designer used a theme. Halloween is not one of my favorite holidays but I do have kids in the neighborhood that I give treats out to. This may be a way to decorate the home for their arrival.

This is such an adorable idea! These covers would be perfect to make if you want to put together a little goodie jar for your grandkids!

This is a very cute idea to add something different to your Halloween dcor. You can keep the same jars year round and just change the covers every season to have a very convenient candy jar to greet guests. These are so easy to make and would be great last minute gifts for a house warming.

I keep all sorts of jars for storing bits and pieces in, so the best thing about this project is that you dont need to have a certain size (like a Mason jar). I love the little pumpkin versions, but I also made some up in green (for witches and monsters) and white (for ghosts). Seeing these again, I might make a few up as black bats with felt wings and googly eyes. One of my all time favorite projects!

These are made up of half double crochets in the back loop only to create that stretchy ribbing effect. it should wrap around your jar and hold tight nicely. I like the fact that it is just felt shapes cut out and hot glued on there! For ease of working the project it is much better than embroidery. Especially for those who don't know how.
