This twelve inch square moody blue granny square is divine. From the outer edge to the very center there is so much design elements that this is a masterpiece in blue, my favorite color by the way. Thanks so much for sharing this square.

This is very nice but I am not crazy about the color combos. I make up things in advance of knowing who may end up with them. So I think thus done in black and white would go with almost any ones de or. Mostly white.thank you for sharing this very easy project.

I completely understand the name of this beautiful moody blue crochet granny square but do not get stuck believing that you can not use other colors for this magnificently done square. It is absolutely beautiful in blue but I can see this in any version of the colors of the rainbow. There are excellent pictures through the directions also.

What a nice and calming granny square pattern. This is a very unique granny square pattern with the flow of the stitches being even all the way around instead of grouped in clusters. You need your "H" crochet hook and worsted weight yarn. I am in love with Michaels stores new Colorwheel yarns as they come in every shade of every color, and the way they are grouped on the shelf by color, it makes it easy to pick every shade within the same color family! I recently purchased five colors of blue...ranging from mint to a dark teal. It would be perfect for this granny square.
