Sport weight yarn is used in any color you want. The treble stitch works this pattern in rounds for a beautiful final effect and it comes in two different sizes.

These handwarmers appealed to me however I had a bit of difficulty following the instructions. Round 2 was left out in the line up so when round 1 was complete the next step was rounds 2-3 repeat round 2 was shown I assumed it meant round 1. br Then in the edging instructions round 2 said sc in next ch 3 space there wasn't a ch 3 sp from the round before since the instructions in round 1 were to ch 2, consequently I had to ad lib. br The other thought I had was should I have used round 2 of the edging instructions in the body for the basic handwarmer since round 2 was not shown. br If the designer of this pattern sees this comment it would be most helpful for corrections to adjust the pattern. regards, jillkin

I really liked the look of these, but since reading your post I am very leary of trying to make them. I guess I will search on this site and the internet for another pattern. arggh.... Thank you for your comments. It sure did help to know this before I got started trying to make them.

Try going to the pattern site abd requesting help from the designer there. She's much more likely to see it on her own website then on this one.
