I know this is for a garbage pail cover but this could easily be a cover for any thing. I have a couple of flower pots that could use a little attention and make a cover like this could update them for a lot less than replacing them. Thanks for the share.

If you are anything like me you love to have your decor match. Thus you can totally understand how great this project is. Those matching trash cans can be very expensive but yarn is typically not. You may not have the exact matching pail but the matching colors will blend in nicely. I love this concept.

This is a great idea if you cant find exactly the right colored commercial product. One of the nice things about working with yarn is the vast array of colors and textures out there. This project can also give new life to a shabby but still serviceable waste paper basket. It would be fun to work this up in school or team colors, too.
