The nicest thing about these little cozies is that they can do double duty as finger puppets. Id love to make these for the grandchildren, but not everyone owns egg cups anymore. I do think the bodies will probably be long enough to enclose just the egg (real or plastic) itself, so Ill work up a sample to check. I can always add a row or two if necessary.

I saw something just like these on a European knitting and crochet website a week ago, except those were crocheted in DK cotton yarn and not acrylic.
