This project calls for a smaller hook (size C) than I usually can use, but I think these would probably work with an E or even F hook. The pendants are just precious, but like the author suggests, there are several alternate uses for this project. I thought the key ring idea was great as you could use a heart alone or as part of a group of crocheted tokens.

This is such a good idea for Valentine's Day. It is unique and original. I love that the art of crochet has come back because each piece is unique in style, color, and technique. I am making my daughter one for the holiday!
