Whenever my grandkids ask for a bag, its almost always something with a drawstring. Their latest versions have two drawstrings, and Im still trying to noodle out how to make that work with a crochet project. This is such a cheerful looking project that Im sure one of my granddaughters will want to work it up. They always enjoy getting project ideas from Grandma!

I wonder what a person could use this rainbow mini tote bag for? I can see it for a very young girl, for her it would be cute to carry her school lunch, don't you think? I would add an open pocket on the bottom inside to slip an ice pack.

One of my teen grandsons asked me to teach HIM this pattern so he could store is gaming dice. No rainbow--he wanted a camo yarn. And great idea about the ice pack.
