I had to check to see if the dress came off before making it. Since it does I will be making a few other pieces to add to her wardrobe. Maybe a more formal dress. My grand daughter will love it. Almost as much as I love making her things like this.

I've always wanted to try making a doll or amigurumi but I'm not sure of the outcome. I believe that it's more difficult to make tiny crochet projects like them. I can try though and who knows. Right?

I made this doll last year and my daughter still loves it and sleeps with it every night. It has held up very well and has even gone through a few washings.

I made this doll, but it was not an easy project for a beginner. The single crochet stitch is super easy, but there's so much more to making this doll than crochet. I watched several videos to understand some of the steps. I still recommend this project, but maybe not as your first ever crochet project!

Quick and Easy Crochet Doll is exactly the right doll for (almost) 2 year old little Sophie. She just LOVES soft and cuddly things and I have exactly the right bamboo yarns to use. She is also just starting to get her head around different colors (ello and boo = yellow and blue) so I am going to use lots of colors to help her along and it is going to make a perfect 2nd birthday gift for her.

This sweet faced little charmer is just the perfect size for my preschool aged granddaughters. I love the blue hair, but will probably use yarn that more closely resembles their own. The dress is removable, so I will be making some additional frocks to go with each doll. Maybe even a nightgown, too. A girl cant have too many wardrobe options.

Although this is not a brand new pattern, I think it is timeless and I am planning to do some. My granddaughter will love it as per the pattern. Next on my list will be a princess with a longer dress then I thought I'd try some different occupations. I'm sure I'm not the only grandma devoted to dollies - don't you agree?

This is a very cute and easy Quick and Easy Crochet Doll pattern. I have made a few for my younger Grand daughters, and lost the pattern. I'm so happy you shared it because I've been wanting to make it with thread for key chains for my Grand kids that are now driving. I'm one happy crocheter now..This pattern is very well written and so simple to create. Thank you so much for sharing this free cute pattern.

This is so cute and so easy to do. I used safety eyes so no choking hazards. I want to make one for my friends grand daughter and I also want to make a few in different outfits to donate to the children's ward at our county hospital. Sometimes it helps a little one if her dolly gets her shot first!

minion looks great ,going to have a go later

I made this doll and I found it easy and fun, however the hair was new for me, but I took my time and it came out perfect, I also made more ooutfits and my granddaughter will not stop playing and loving this doll. A big thanks for sharing such a cute pattern.

me and my gramma work on this doll together! WE WILL MAKE MORE! THIS PATTERN IS AWESOME!

I made this doll for a pay it forward group that I belong to. It was gifted to a 1 yr old girl. The pattern is so easy, I stitched the face on so there would be no parts to choke on. I will be making them throughout the year to share again next Christmas. What an easy way to make a little one happy during the holidays. Thank you for sharing this.

This is darling. Looking forward to making it.:)

I look forward to making this doll for my granddaughter for Christmas this year. She will be 2 1/2 and should really enjoy. It's VERY cute.

This link does not work. Could I get the pattern for this doll if anyone has it?

I am having problems with the dress, when you start the second row...seems like I always have an extra chain and I don't really understand the directions. Is anyone else having this problem?

This is a fabulous doll pattern. I have made many of these dolls and everyone that receives one loves it. They are easy and can be made exactly like the pattern,or change up the colors to compliment the person your giving it too. I am in the process of making three of them right now for my great nephew and two great nieces. they are going to love them

wow I cant wait to make this doll for my 8 years old sis... oh and one for me to keep... i thing she will just love it...

I love her and all of her Lily counterparts. I made the Elf one so far and I want to try this summer one too. I like that they each have different hair and outfits.

This is so cute, is it really easy? Can't wait to try!!!

I love this pattern. I have made a few of these little dolls and given them as new baby gifts. Easy to do and just darling.

Have done several of these with different coloured hair and clothes - big hit with my granddaughter- Easy ti do one in a day

My granddaughter [age 2] loved this- and wants one with 'crazy hair' so am going to male one with 8 different colours of wool in the hair. Easy pattern - worked up in a day -make sure neck area is tightly stuffed or it gets floppy

i found this very easy to print just follow the instructions

try to save the file first into pdf and then print it from there. this often helps! good luck.

I had trouble bring up the directions for this cute doll. When it did complete and I printed the instructions ..... I only got the side boarders and the picture of the doll. No Words printed. I did this twice. Never had a problem before. What is wrong? Thanks for the help ..... K
