"The Rosewood Clusters Crochet Blanket is a colorful and textured throw made with an easy double cluster stitch pattern. The repeating cluster stitches give the blanket a soft, cozy look while still being simple enough for crocheters who are comfortable with basic stitches. The pattern uses an easy two-row repeat, making it a relaxing project once you get into the rhythm. This crochet blanket is made with three skeins of Lion Brand Mandala Bonus Bundle yarn in the Meowth colorway. The self-striping yarn creates a beautiful combination of rose, pink, blue, gray, cream, and other coordinating shades without having to plan each color change yourself. The changing colors make every section of the blanket look a little different. To create the striped effect, I worked with two skeins of yarn at the same time and alternated between them on each row. The yarn that is not being used is carried along and crocheted over, which helps reduce the number of loose ends that need to be woven in later. Alternating the skeins also mixes the colors in a unique way and produces pretty stripes throughout the finished throw. Although this version uses Lion Brand Mandala yarn, you could easily customize the pattern with two coordinating colors of DK weight yarn.
