. I can recall those summer days of enjoying bomb pops. This is a cute square to add to any afghan or decor. This applique can be applied to more than a granny square. I can see this being added to a canvas back pack or a jean jacket. I like this applique.

Thank you so very much for the video. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I like this applique series. The designs are funky and modern, just right for a young lady in her third year of college. I know my niece will appreciate this designer afghan and I am enjoying making each square.

I had to laugh when I saw this project because I literally just bought a box of these summer treats at the grocery store! While Im partial to Fudgcicles myself, Bomb Pops bring happy memories to my husband. This clever idea would make a cute appliqu for a summer hat or beach covering. This is a great scrap buster, too, if you have any leftover yarn from your other patriotic projects.

I remember eating those pops every summer when I was younger. They are a true sign of summer and the fond memories of school vacations. The applique is so cute. Its so small that it wont take much yarn at all to make. That blanket square pictured with the pop is much too dark for that though. It needs to be sewn on something bright and summery.

This is adorable! It would be a great square to add to a summer-themed afghan without making it too Fourth of July-themed.

I would love to see a full size afghan done up in just the bomb pop applique squares. Not every square, but alternate between solid squares in white, blue, red, and black- mixed with random bomb pops. My 14 year old son would love that! I think the motif is good for a kitschy theme in your home.
