Beach Ball Square
Beach Ball Square

"Jump into summery fun with this Beach Ball Square! Vibrant colors and a raised edge make the beach ball really pop on a neutral, sandy background. Finished off with a fast and colorful border, this square is sure to add a little sunshine to your project. For another fun idea, some people have noticed that if you make the circle in 2 colors instead of three, it can look like a radiation symbol instead of a beach ball!"

This is such a fun granny square pattern. I can see having this as part of a beach blanket that will become a favorite for the family on those sunny outing. To make it interesting, you can make the balls in different colors or all the same. The possibilities are endless.

Another granny square to add to my ever growing collection of granny squares. I love the idea of being able to make a lot of these sweet things and assemble them to create a one of a kind piece that can be given to those special people in your life.

I like the look of this square. Im not too overly excited about the beach ball shape in the center but I love the background and the colors around the border. This is just one square of a summer CAL. I will definitely be checking out the others to see what there is. I had to click around a bit, but finally found the pattern.

This is so cute! It would be perfect for an entire summer-themed granny square afghan.

Adora-ball! I would love to make an entire afghan in this summer beach ball theme. I am partial to using a red, yellow, blue and white- those are the classic beach ball colors. The background color I would choose would be a turquoise or a sandy color. I am going for total kitsch here!
