In just a few short months you will be glad that you started this project now. Not only can you create this adorable crochet Christmas tree, there are links to create stars and hearts. Make a few or a lot, use them together or individually. There are so many uses for these little handmade items.

OMG! This crochet Christmas tree started out as a granny triangle. How clever! These are just the right size as ornaments, gift embellishments or attached to a garland to hang somewhere in the home. The possibilities are endless as they can also be attached as applique to clothing or linen.

Our grandmother's were more patient and persevering than than us in this present generation. They were busy doing the finer things in life than being busy on their gadgets, or busy watching TV, you tube, etc. That's why they were able to produce such lovely crochet projects. We can still do this now if we want to.

Tried this craft? What did you think?

Something this cute and thus easy just isn't natural! I love them. I have so much yarn left over from other projects that I can make tons of these. They will make great little extras around the house. Coasters, tree ornaments, package decorations, and when hooked together, banners. Thank you for offering them.

I already have a Granny Christmas Tree pattern, but its not nearly as nice as this one. The designer takes you step by step by step using a series of wonderful photos. My only tiny gripe is that there doesnt seem to be any way to make the individual photos larger. I needed to see some of the details, so I just magnified the whole page.

This is an excellent tutorial for making a Christmas tree. They can be used as embellishments, appliques, coasters, ornaments, or just for general decorating around the house. These are so easy to make and take so little time. I want to experiment with adding some together to form a bunting or banner.
