Crochet Snowman Hat and Cocoon
If you want to keep your baby warm and snug this winter season, work up a Crochet Snowman Hat and Cocoon set. This set will keep your child from being cold while being the cutest winter wear on the block. Chunky yarn is used to make this extra snuggly for your baby, and you can customize the color of the scarf and earmuffs to your own taste. You can further customize this pattern with the way you tie the scarf. A bow, a knot, or any other tie that you think would look best will work. This is a great gift for any new parents, especially if they have a Christmas baby!

This is downright adorable. And it's so easy. It uses everyday findable yarn too. No running all over looking for a special type or brand. My friends grand daughter is having an early December baby girl. So when I make this the scarf will be pink and there will be a matching pink bow on the top of the hat. Thanks for sharing this.

Oh my goodness! This is just too adorable! What a wonderful photo prop for babys first Christmas. I love the style of the face on the hat this snowman certainly has personality ) This set is a little more winter than Christmas I think that makes this a great option if you have a family having a winter baby but doesnt celebrate Christmas. Something other than a Santa/elf/reindeer.

My youngest daughter just presented us with another grandson, and decided that Baby William definitely needs this adorable cocoon! Im making it up with the red scarf and earmuffs, but I can see using various pinks and blues instead of the red. I am changing a few things though. Im making crocheted rounds in place of the buttons, and instead of a flat carrot nose, Im making a small cone.
