I dont have any use for a pencil case right now, but I sure like the look of that Fantail Stitch. I worked up a swatch using the instructions for the Back Piece to see how difficult the stitch might be, and it was just as easy as described. Im thinking it would make a very pretty scarf. And so clever about using Duct tapebut then, you can use that stuff for just about anything.

Is this something new that the kids are doing these days? This Duck tape stuff? If so, I am LOVING it! There are so many applications for the use of this no-sew technique for a liner. Make-up pouches, pencil pouches, snack pouches, tote bags for the market, and so much more. I like the fan tail stitch, but I am more enamored by the no-sew liner. Bravo for this pattern!
