Crayon Pouch
"This little Crayon Pouch can be used as a cozy for a box of crayons or as a drawstring pouch. It holds a 24 pack of crayon or approximately 30 loose crayons. Perfect gift for classrooms or give to kids for traveling. It helps keep the crayon box intact, or a place to put your crayons even if the box does break down. Can make in as little or as many colors as you prefer."

This Crayon Pouch is one of the best ideas for kids crayons I have seen in awhile! Love the colors and the design is really cute. The pattern is well written and so easy to make. This will make a great gift for anyone who has crayons in home or school. I like the tie part to help hold the crayons in the pouch. I think it may need a top though? Looking forward to making this one. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet crayon pouch.

This is a really clever idea, and the designer is absolutely right about how badly mangled the crayon boxes get over the course of the school year. This project is designed to accommodate a 24 count box, which is pretty much what all the elementary school lists call for. What a delightful First Day of School surprise for a lucky child! A great craft sale item, too.
