I love this stitch sequence. Of all the Corner to Corner designs, I found that this one was the easiest for me (and most of my students young and old) to master. This is the best tutorial Ive found, and Ive printed it out to give to my students. The designer walks you through every stitch with close up photos and well written instructions. You cant go wrong with this stitch or Rhonddas tutorial.

This crochet stich reminds me of a basket weave stich. I like the idea of using this 4 x 4 square as a coaster. I could use all my left-over yarn and mix and match colors for caster sets. Would make a nice gift for my sisters, aunts, and girlfriends. I might even make a colorful lap throw.

Wow this Corner to Corner Shell Stitch tutorial is great! I have tried to make a corner to corner shell stitch blanket with just the written pattern and failed greatly. With this tutorial that has pictures to show just how it's done is so clear there is no way I can fail! I have passed up a lot of corner to corner patterns because they just wouldn't work for me, now this has showed this old dog how to do it and I won't be passing up the patterns anymore.
