What a gorgeous top. Only thing better than the look is the ease of which it takes to make. I read the directions and it's a very easy project. It uses basic stitches and it is so well written that anyone even a beginner could understand. I live in Florida. This will come in handy a lot.

What a beautiful open weave crochet design. This is my type of top. I like clothing with a little give in the design. With the three designs pictured, I don't know which one I like the most. I guess one is in a variegated yarn and it is the most interesting. No indication of the color but it is beautiful. I guess I will have to make myself two of these, one in a solid color and one in a variegated yarn.

Oversized tops do not get all the justice that they deserve. They can be so versatile and depending on how you wear them, they can take you into the cooler months of the year depending on the color they are. I love this design and I hope I can work through the directions and complete this so I can wear it a few times this year as I want to make it in a vibrant summer color.

This is a lovely top to make to wear over a bathing suit. You also can make it for that lovely extra layer over a camisole. I love the color they chose even though it would look in any color. The pattern is easy to follow and you just make two sides for the front and back. I think it will work up quickly. Thank you.

Eeeew! I am sooooo excited! I have been admiring tops similar to this one in the store but the shoddy workmanship and the price have held me back from buying one. Now there is no stopping me! Well, there is the dilemma of choosing the color from so many gorgeous ones!!!

LOVE this!

This is so easy that I may have to make it in all the colors that match my tops. Not only will it be great for going over tops but what a cute and stylish over cover for my bathing suit. Not too heavy in the summer heat and yet very chic and hopefully will draw eyes away from my other body spots. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Had no issues reaching Mazs blog to get this pattern. I saw someone comment that they did. I frequent her site often and have never had any problems. Maz is an excellent designer and her instructions so far have been explained in detail and easy to understand. She also has a lot of pictures for reference for each project.

This Lacy Oversized Top is beautiful. I like to wear things like this over a tank top or a top the is shorter than I like. This top would be wonderful for any occasion.

I really love these open and airy tunic tops that are back in style. They're not just for the beach or pool, either. Throw this one on over some printed leggings and a slim tank underneath and you'd be set for lunch with the girls. The color choice is exactly what I would choose. I appreciate the options to size the pattern up to an XXL. You don't always get that option.

attempted to go to pattern page, received fatal error message.

Hi Dreamer, I just checked the link and was able to click through to the blogger's site and pattern without an issue. Maybe the site was down briefly - I would suggest trying again. :) Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

The image of this pattern caught my eye. It looks like something I would wear and seems easy enough to make. Although Ill likely follow the pattern the first time, I may have to make adjustments if I make one for myself. thenightlighter asked about a modified pattern for an open front and it might help to contact the creator of the pattern directly (the link to the free pattern takes you to her website). I would be interested in opening up the sides a bit for variation.

I don't suppose there is a master crocheter out there who could rewrite this pattern so that it opened in the front? It would be perfect for a swim suit cover-up if it was just open in the front (with a belt!). I'm not expecting that there is, but it never hurts to hope, right?
