"This scarf makes a beautiful accessory for any fall or winter outfit. The infinity scarf can be worn long, or wrapped twice around the neck. Following an easy stitch pattern which includes single and double crochet stitches, you will create a beautiful and squishy texture! It works up quickly with a large hook and super bulky yarn. You can use the green pictured here, or any of your favorite colors. A trendy, yet classic piece that can be worn year after year."

I have come across the Lemon Peel Stitch before, but to be honest, I cant remember which project. It sounds like another name for the myriad of stitches where you alternate Single and Double Crochet stitches across the row. The biggest difference I can see is that the rows are worked across the width. I prefer this as its easier to control the length that way. You just stop when you want to instead of trying to guess from the get go.

Lemon peel stitch? I had no idea that was what the stitch pictured. I always thought it was called the star stitch for some reason. I actually am using this particular stitch on a triangle scarf right now. And mine is green, too! Almost the same color. I should maybe perhaps quit my project and rip it out to make THIS infinity scarf, instead. It looks so pretty! Oh, how about one of these in a magenta or fuschia?!
