This potholder has such an unusual finished shape. Ive worked other projects with hexagons in the center, but nothing with such a meticulous scooped edge. It gives me all sorts of ideas for other projects, but for now Ill concentrate on this one. The designer starts the new color at Round 5, but you could play around and start it earlier or later.

I am in love with this crochet hexagon potholder! I love unique patterns, and this is definitely that. Usually the potholders I make are square, so this will definitely be great to make for something different! This would be the perfect gift, for a couple on their wedding day or new homeowners. You can make it in colors to match their decor.

I am gushing over these hexagon potholders in a big way! The bright pop of color nestled inside the classic white is what caught my eye. I can see myself making several of these for my kitchen. Made in 100% cotton, which is very important when you are handling hot pans. Acrylic or acrylic blends will melt. They are so simple to make!

This is so pretty. The pattern is very easy and the directions are well written and can be followed with ease. You can switch up the colors to fit any decor. I think I will make a bunch and make them into a table runner. Thank you for sharing this great idea.
