Now this piece is almost too sexy for me or is it? LOL If you would dare, this all year round crochet poncho is almost a dress in itself. It would certainly keep the chill at bay with bulkier attire as well. I am sure I would never dare to go almost bare underneath but I would wear it with a pair of blue jeans and a turtle neck sweater.

This is real sharp! I like the multi color yarn that the designer used but I love solid colors. However the best part of this yarn, it can be worn with almost anything. I just love the fringes. This is really avant garde.

I know why it's call All Year Round Crochet Poncho. Because it is simple, light, and dressy. It's very easy to wear, you just pull it over a black top and viola, you are protected from the cold and gives a complete look.

What a unique, beautiful poncho this is. I love it! I have never crochet with a size P crochet hook before. The largest Ive gone was size N. Seems the larger the hook the stretcher the stitch will be. Just two panels are needed. Anyone can do this, even me!

I MUST have this in my wardrobe for this fall. That fringe along the bottom is everything! I'm not sure if I have come across this yarn at the store. I have not browsed every single Red Heart available, but I sure do hope my local big box craft store will have it. I watched most of the tutorial. I could find a yarn similar to this if all else fails. She has a slightly different formula that what I have been using for measurements. I also like her method of determining where to stop when you are sewing up the back and the front (panels). She stops almost halfway up, which is what gives it that deep "v" and very open neck line. Thank you so much for posting this one! I have lots of work to do now...

All year depends on where you live when it comes to patterns. I am in Ontario Canada. Wearing this as a poncho in winter could be fatal. It is a nice poncho though. I would definitely wear it in late Spring, Summer, and early Autumn. It looks simple to make, and it is stylish. Thank you for sharing it!

I sure do have ponchos that I wish could be worn all year long and really wish there was a way to make those ponchos into year-round ponchos but guessing that would be a nearly impossible task without redoing them all over again. This is a cute poncho for casual outfits and jeans. I like the look with the belt added.

Oh what fun, this beautiful boho pattern is something that I just have to make! Love the yarn too but Red Heart yarns are not available here in South Africa so I am going to have to get it online because it is absolutely perfect for this poncho. I am thinking about making one in black too so I may start that one first while I wait for the Red Heart yarn to arrive.
