Fall is right around the corner, and with it comes poncho season. Crochet ponchos, like this stunning Boho Poncho, are a great way to add some quick style and warmth to your outfit.

Quick to work up and easy to follow, this crochet pattern can be made in any color - or use self-striping yarn, as in the photo, for a seamless and colorful design. With no armholes to work up and complicate things, this easy pattern is a breeze. Add some flirty fringe at the ends to complete your boho masterpiece.

From the Blogger: "This poncho is a classic addition to your wardrobe. The self-striping yarn makes it simple to make on autopilot watching your favorite show. Easy to customize with fringe and edgings."

This Boho poncho would be a great addition to any wardrobe. I love the neutral self-striping yarn that the designer selected. It would also be great to have it in a more vibrant color to give a pop of color to a pair of jeans and a plain tee-shirt.

What a classic. The use of self striping yarn takes this classic design to the next level. It is really reminiscent of the Granny Square and with or without a fringe this will soon become a favorite go to piece.

Has anyone received a response to how to make this poncho for a plus size? I would really like to know how. Thanks!

This poncho, for some reason, keeps coming into my radar. Could this be some sort of hint from the universe that I should make this? Is it because I love boho and it is called the Boho Poncho? Who knows! But I keep seeing it almost every time I open an email update and come to this page. LOL

I've seen this Boho Poncho many times over but I still can't get my eyes off it every time. I like the simplicity and airiness of this piece. Can be worn on a summer night out. Perfect with jeans and short or long sleeved top.

The poncho is truly a timeless piece. I cant remember a time when there was not a poncho in a wardrobe. These as far as I can remember sprang from the sixties times when love was free and everyone was shouting for peace. The boho colors are simple and basic just like this timeless piece.

I have made this pattern in different colors several times. (varient colors each of pink, green and purple.) It is super easy and quick to make. I do find that you need to make a few extra rows to make it long enough to come below the waist. It's a great pattern for a beginner.

Cute, quick and easy....how perfect is that. I love the BoHo look and this is differently hitting right on the mark. I love the colors that the designer worked the poncho in. Fall is coming and ponchos are perfect with boots and a pair of leggings.

Oh my gosh, there are so many new poncho patterns here on this website, I cannot decide which one I like the most! This boho style poncho is done in one piece and is comprised of groups of three double crochets and skipped stitches in between. It creates a classic granny square look that is pleasing to the eye. This yarn is wonderful to work with, too!

Love the Boho look!! When I was in grade school I had one just like this made out of pinks. I would love to make me another one but I need to know a pattern for a 3X . I would really appreciate an answer back at my email address. Thanks

Perhaps try using a size larger crochet hook? Make a test square first to check the guage. I'm sure there are other ways to do this but this is the only one I can think of right now.

Love the boho look and love the colors on this boho poncho. Its so totally retro and looks just like the ones we wore in the 70s. Such a classic piece and cant wait to make one to add to my wardrobe. The pattern looks similar to a granny square. Looks like a very easy project that would work up rather quickly as it is made up with basic stitches.

Such a pretty pattern, thank you! It is also light enough to be just right for fall which, in South Africa, will be here in just a few months. Ponchos are such handy things (so much nicer than cardigans, I always think) and this one will easily enhance many an outfit. The colors they have used are a little pale for me but I have a huge stash of yarns so I am sure I will find a good combination of colors to use.

How would I convert this pattern for a plus size woman? Such a cute poncho!

SO cute. I have to make this, what a lovely idea.

I love this Boho Poncho pattern. My mom made me one for my 10th. birthday done in different shades of purple. I wore that thing out. Now I have the so easy pattern and can make my own with different shades of purple. This pattern is easy to understand and like it says I can do it while watching t.v. or sitting out in the sun with the Grand kids. I can be sure that all the ladies in my family will want one after they see mine. LOL Thank you so much for this free pattern that Is A Must!!

I love this classic look. I made a poncho like this, but without the tassels; it goes with plenty of outfits.
