This is such a fun, practical design! I love that it is the shape perfect for scissors, so that you will know exactly what is stored there. You can make it your own with the embellishments and different colors. I have a ton of bon bon yarns, now I have a pattern I can make with them!

I like this project for a couple of reasons. One is that I love all of the bright colors used, and two, it is a great idea to help keep your scissors safe when traveling or just storing away at home, but this cover is so pretty that you wouldnt want to hide them away but proudly display them.

Boy, did I need this project! I keep all my hooks, needle case and scissors in the same zippered up pencil bag, but occasionally I need to keep my scissors separately. That inevitably means their sharp point poking a hole in my bag. I worked this project up while watching TV the other night. Only a little problem at the beginning because I was using dark yarn and couldnt see to slip stitch very well.
