One of my little grandsons in Arizona is CRAZY for Batman, so this is definitely on this list for this Christmas. Since his immediately younger brother follows him around like a puppy dog, Im either going to need to make another one, or work up some sort of Robin get up, too. What a fun idea for imaginative play! Ill look around for similar patterns.

I think this is one of those projects that will go viral on the block. Once your kid is seen wearing one of these, the whole neighborhood of kids will want one. This would be great for play time as well as keeping those heads warm during the colder months. Sometimes it is difficult to keep up with hats but I bet Johnny will not misplace this one, lol.

This is a clever project. It is essential a hat pattern with additions of ears and a mask to make this batman hat. I love it. This could easily become an accessory for the female persuasion also. Remember there was a bat girl and a cat woman.

I'm sorry to say this was fine till I got to the eyes. Took a REALLY long time to get there using SC. They eye instructions came out way too close together and super tiny at the openings. Since I didn't have my grandson local so I could make a fitting I decided to abandon the project. I agree it does look more like DC.

The pattern says SC throughout, but when you zoom in on the picture, it's definitely DC (I had to add more SC's to the eye area to make it thick like the picture). I just did the hat in SC and it took forever!! Did anyone else notice this? Next time I'll try DC's.

I love this hat, but now my husband wants one also and I am unsure of how to convert the kids size pattern into a mens adult size. Can anyone help me?
