"The Tropical Beanie is a beautiful textured beanie, I love crochet designs that have beautiful texture, I think they are my favorite to design. I used a fun tropical color for most of the beanie and that is where it got it’s name from. This beanie can be customized for anyone to wear from newborn to adult. This design has some advanced stitches with front post and back post stitches, but don't worry they are easy to make!"
Crochet HookK/10.5 or 6.5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

This is a sweet beanie, and using the Post Stitches really adds to the texture. The designer has provided instructions for all sizes from Infant to Adult and uses a K size hook so it works up quickly. Choice of yarn is up to the crafter although the designer does recommend a specific brand of 4 ply worsted. This will be a nice addition to my hat collection.
