"This hat is sweet with a pretty heart patch that is perfect for Valentine’s Day, but it doesn’t stop there. The hat is so versatile you can customize it in many different ways for different looks. The stitching is a simple twist on a double crochet and creates a pretty fabric with interest. I love the band with its raised ribbon rows. A little surface crochet makes these rows pop! The pattern includes all sizes from 3 months to adult and the heart patch."

Wow. This will look great on my 6-year old granddaughter. Perfect gift for a baby infant and older. You can change the colors if you want to.

This looks like the hats the flappers use to wear. My friends grand daughter is 4 months old on Valentine's Day so I am going to make this for her. I want to make one change. Instead of the string in the center of the heart, I will replace it with either a small white button or small white flower.

Were going to visit our grand niece Phoenix next weekend, and I simply have to make this sweet hat just for her! The 3 to 6 month size will fit perfectly! This nicely written pattern is available through adult sizes, too, and I love the idea of making these up as Chemo Caps as well. Thanks so much for finding and posting this precious project!
