If you are in the market for a pattern that works up quick and requires a little material then you have found it. This single skein beanie pattern from Lion Brand is just what I need. I like to make a few beanies to have on hand when family visits. No one every anticipates just how cold it gets here and they are never prepared. Someone always goes home with a hat that they did not come with, lol.

This beanie, using just one skein of yarn, would make a stunning gift this Christmas. It's a great hat for the boys and men in the family. I like project that work up quick, because I crave that immediate satisfaction. Bravo for this pattern!

#bestideaever - can't wait to make this. I'm making a shawl with Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn - so soft - in this color combination and will make this beanie to match!

I haven't taken a picture yet, but wanted to say this hat pattern. This works up quite easily, made one in a few hours.
