Easy Bucket Hat Crochet Pattern With Chart In Four Sizes

"The Easy Bucket Hat is a quick project that uses basic crochet stitches and simple repeats to create a classic style! This bucket hat is made with two strands of yarn held together, making a thicker fabric for a sturdier brim (no floppy brims here)! Simple stitches are used to create a solid fabric that is really fun to crochet (once you get started, it’s hard to stop)! The pattern is worked in continuous rounds from the top down using just single crochet stitches, so you won’t have a noticeable seam to look at. Follow the pattern instructions, or crochet chart, to create one of four popular hat sizes: 18 (20, 22, 24)”. While you can easily substitute yarn for this project, I really enjoyed working with Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton to give this style the perfect weight and brim. 24/7 Cotton is a sturdy yarn with a nice weight to it, so the fabric it creates is really nice for this bucket hat style. If you choose to substitute yarn, think about the fabric you’re creating and be careful not to create fabric that is too loose, or too stiff (unless you’re into that style, of course)! The Easy Bucket Hat is a great pattern because: This top-down hat is worked with simple stitches and round repeats. You can easily substitute yarn fibers and colors to fit your personal style! You’ll get to practice a lot of crochet skills: working in continuous rounds, using two strands of yarn at once, increasing, gauge & size, finishing techniques & more!"
