The weather is beginning to cool down. It will not be long before it is necessary to get those hats out again. I like this one because of the brim and since I know I will need one, I guess this is the first of many I know I will make for the cold months.

I just LOVE this slouch mesh hat with brim. I have very long and thick hair and with anything on my head, I feel like I am burning thru and through. With design allows the air to flow thru and it really looks stylish. I just have to run out and select a couple of colors to work this project up with.

Great work. This is a really cute hat. Thank you for sharing your pattern with us. I have seen a lot of slouchy hat patterns lately so they must be really popular with the younger crowd. This hat is very mesh with lots of openings. I would not be able to keep my hair inside the openings. This would be a great hat for someone with dreadlocks.

My first thought when I saw this hat was of a spider. I realize that it likely wasnt the designers intent, but this would make a great Halloween costume or goth piece. The pattern is easy to follow, and it works up quickly. There is a video tutorial included for anyone who finds it easier to watch it being made.
